Lucia Bella Style Star- Pure Beauty

From seventies chic styling to the natural setting, our customer Lydia's wedding photos look like an ethereal daydream! I love it when couples incorporate their own personal aesthetics and make the wedding truly theirs. It creates an authentically beautiful vibe. And Lydia's fur crop jacket is just to die for ♥

Gorgeous bride Lydia is wearing Lucia Bella's Sienna Halo headband and her darling flower girl is wearing a custom made Sunny Headband. Stunning photography by Paul Saxby - check out more photos of his imaginative work here!

Strawberry Shortcake

I had my hair dyed red once, which involved striping my hair and 8 hours in the salon. After that, my red head experience consisted of literally 1 week of the perfect color, a random guy shouting "Hiya Red!" as I was out running and intense fading every time I washed it. So while it was a short lived journey, it hasn't stopped my appreciation! Because when it is done right, red hair is PERFECTION...

The Darkest Light

Riccardo Tisci's couture collection for Givenchy is so breathtakingly beautiful to me. Inspired by Frida Kahlo's three obsessions- religion, sensuality, and the human anatomy, the collection achieves a unique balance of both delicate and strong, serene yet intense.

I also love the allure aspect of see through clothing, seen here on some of the Givenchy pieces. For a daily wear take on the look, I purchased a black sheer maxi dress from RVCA and paired it with simple Victoria's Secret black boyshorts underneath.

Naturally Sweetened

The talented photographers of Eternal Reflections Photography did a beautifully dreamy, "day after" wedding shoot with adorable couple Krystal and Booker (click names for complete collection of the photos from this shoot). Their photos are just perfection, punctuated with fresh styling, and so unique! Lucia Bella's Sienna halo headband added to the natural and romantic feel!

Romance Rekindled

I was loading some older cds to my ipod and came across Sahara Hotnights, an all girl rock band from Sweden! I forgot how much I loved their songs and have been listening to the music from their first few cd's non stop the past couple of days.

In ♥ again!

Haute Pink

My lovely Grandma Nellie had a series of Degas ballerina prints in her home. Whenever I see anything like that, it reminds me of when I was little and the bliss of spending carefree time with her. I was so lucky to have her, it's a treasured few who love you for exactly who you are. I think seeing those prints ignited my love of art, ballet and years of dance classes. Here are some selections that ignore the literal and look fashionably influenced by the beauty of a ballerina...
